I bought this bowl and thought it was the perfect size for being the "garbage" bowl. So I also bought my daughter one, her's broke in two within a few weeks and sometime later so did mine. We were both very disappointed, especially considering the price for this "break resisant" product. It seems a little too brittle. She just went for a dollar store bowl that works for her, I succumbed and bought another but I treat it like glass.

a prettier option for collecting garbage than the previous alternative (a coffee can), this one matches my granite counters perfectly and doens't look out of place. love that it's machine washable and the melamine is virtually indestructable. kudos from a compost queen

I am not use to using this bowl but I am getting use to it. I love that I can put everything from egg shells to cans in it. I fit 5 cans in it. I love that you can just throw everything in there then at the end just dump it all in the trash can. I doesn't seem that would be such a time saver but it really is.

I received a garbage bowl as a Christmas gift. Within a month it split all the way down the side. Thinking it was a one time thing I bought another one. Within a week it did the same thing as the first one. I am extremely disappointed. Rachel Ray should be ashamed of this product!

My dog chased my cat onto the counter, and the cat ran into the garbage bowl. It fell on the floor and cracked. I'm not very happy.
