I already have a set of nesting metal mixing bowls but I wanted one with a lid so I ordered this one and I'm so glad I did. It's solid and well made and its lid is heavier and better fitting than most I've seen on comparable bowls. The generous size is perfect for so many mixing jobs and I love the convenience of being able to store food in it without having to resort to plastic wrap or aluminum foil.
